Every night, Scheherazade, now his wife, tells him a
story. The story is about a poor boy
called Aladdin and his genie. The Sultan agrees to hear the story, but before she starts the

Scheherazade tells the Sultan that she has heard that a long time ago, in Persia, a poor boy called Aladdin was playing in a street of his city. A stranger came up to him and asked if he was the son of Mustapha the Tailor. Aladdin answered that he was...but that he died a long while ago. The stranger told Aladdin he was his lost uncle
(Sheherazade le cuenta al sultán que ha oído que hace mucho tiempo en Persia, un pobre chico llamado Aladino estaba jugando en una calle de su ciudad. Un extraño se le acercó y le preguntó si el era el hijo de Mustapha el sastre. Aladino le contestó que si...pero que había muerto hace tiempo. El extraño le contó a Aladino que el era su tío perdido)
As Scheherazade saw the beginning of sunrise she stopped telling the story
and the Sultan and Scheherazade fell asleep.

Scheherazade tells the sultan that the next day, the uncle led Aladdin outside the city, (but he was not Aladdin’s uncle, but an African magician in
disguise. They reached a cave. The uncle tells Aladdin that he can´t go into the cave because he is too big. He asks Aladdin to find the lamp and give it to him. Aladdin finds the lamp and understands that as soon as he gives the lamp to his uncle he will be shut inside the cave. The uncle gets furious, says some magic words and closes the door of the cave. Alladin is trapped. He shouts: help, help, who can help me now?. Just then a strange character appears
(Scheherazade le cuenta al sultán que al otro día el tío lleva a Aladino a las afueras de la ciudad (pero no era el tío de Aladino, si no un mago africano disfrazado. Llegaron a una cueva. El tío le dice a Aladino que el no puede entrar a la cueva porque es muy grande. Le pide a Aladino que encuentre la lámpara y se la entregue. Aladino encuentra la lámpara y comprende que tan pronto como el le entregue la lámpara a su tío, el lo encerrará en la cueva. El tío se enfurece, dice unas palabras mágicas y cierra la puerta de la cueva. Aladino está atrapado. El grita: ayuda! ayuda! quien podrá ayudarme ahora? Justo en ese momento un personaje extraño aparece)
But the strange character could not hear Aladdin. He rubbed the
lamp. Immediately an enormous genie appeared. Aladdin asked him to get him out of there. Once at home he is very hungry so he rubbed the

That night before Scheherazade starts

Scheherazade tells the sultan that Aladdin prepared to go to the palace to ask the
sultan´s daughter´s hand in marriage. He rubbed the lamp and the genie appeared. Aladdin asked the genie for gold coins to take to the sultan´s palace. STARTERS B: SONG: COUNTING

Aladdin´s slaves go with him to the palace to take the gold coins. The coins are beautiful

This is the sultan´s palace. The sultan is happy to see Aladdin. Aladdin gives him the gold coins and tells the sultan that he wants his daughter´s hand in marriage. The sultan accepts. Juniors A

But far away
in Africa the magician remembered Aladdin. He discovered that Aladdin hadn´t died in the cave, and had married a princess. He travelled night and day until he reached the city where Aladdin lived. He was determined to get hold of the lamp. He had his thieves...they worked for him. Adolescents
(pero muy lejos de allí, en Africa el mago recordaba a Aladino. Descubrió que no había muerto en la cueva, y que se había casado con una princesa. Viajó noche y día hasta que llegó a la ciudad donde vivía Aladino. Estaba decidido a conseguir la lámpara. Tenía a sus ladrones..ellos trabajaban para el)
Aladdin went hunting for 8 days…and the magician had a plan: he bought some lamps, put them into a basket, and went to the palace,
shouting: “New lamps for old!” Jasmine´s servants liked the new lamps and convinced her to buy a new lamp. But Jasmine gave the magician the magic lamp!
(Aladino fué de cacería for 8 días...y el mago tenía un plan: compró algunas lámparas, las puso en una canasta y fué al palacio gritando: nuevas lámparas por viejas lámparas!. A las sirvientas de Jasmine le gustaron las nuevas lámparas y convencieron a Yasmín de comprar una nueva. Pero Jasmine le dió al mago la lámpara mágica.)
The magician had the lamp and rubbed it. The genie appeared. The magician asked the genie to take him and Aladin´s palace to Africa
(el mago tenía la lámpara y la frotó. El genio apareció. El mago le pidió al genio que lo lleve junto con el palacio de Aladino a Africa)
Scheherazade tells the sultan that the next morning
the Sultan looked out of the window towards Aladdin’s palace, rubbed his eyes
because he couldn´t see the palace. The Sultan arrested Aladdin but he accepted
to give him 40 days to find her. He was desperate. The genie appeared, told Aladdin he was his only master and helped him. He took Aladdin to Africa, where he found Jasmine. Aladdin killed the magician and recovered the magic lamp.
(Scheherazade le cuenta al sultán que la mañana siguiente el sultán miró por la ventana en dirección al palacio de Aladino, se refregó los ojos porque no pudo ver el palacio. Arrestó a Aladino, pero aceptó darle 40 días para encontrar a Jasmine. Aladino estaba desesperado. El genio apareció, le dijo que el era su único dueño y lo ayudó. Llevó a Aladino a Africa donde encontró a Jasmine. Aladino mató al mago y recuperó la lámpara mágica)
The Sultan could see his daughter again and they
all celebrated. Aladdin and his wife lived in peace. He
succeeded the Sultan when he died, and reigned for many years.
(el sultán pudo ver a su hija otra vez y todos celebraron. Aladino y su esposa vivieron en paz. Aladino sucedió al sultán cuando falleció y reinó por muchos años)
The sultan said: what a great
story!! And Scheherazade said: but I have got a better story to tell you about a
man called Ali Babá and his forty thieves
